Anyone’s visit to South Africa would be incomplete without a
visit to Africa greatest park, the Kruger National Park. Hamilton Parks is situated
a mere 25 minute drive from Kruger Park entrance, Phabeni Gate. Enjoy an open vehicle
tour - your field guide will show you an abundance of wildlife, big and small. He
will give you the interesting facts of the bush.
The Lowveld is also home to the third largest canyon in
the world, the Blyde River Canyon. It is also the largest green canyon in the world.
At the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers huge potholes have eroded in the
riverbed known today as Bourke’s Luck potholes. There is a paved walkway from where
you may view these fascinating rock formations. A little further down the road at
the viewpoint, known as the Three Rondawals one has spectacular views down into
the canyon and of the three round hills on the opposite side known as “Three Rondawals”.
En
route to the Blyde River Canyon there are plenty of waterfalls with magnificent
scenery, as well as Gods Window that offers a spectacular view of the Lowveld some
1000m below.
Apart from the Kruger National Park and scenic routes,
you might also enjoy some golfing, tennis, bowls, fishing, ballooning, river-rafting,
hiking, quad-biking, mountain-biking, squash and plenty more, all within a 20km
radius.

We will gladly make recommendations on places to visit
and things to do, so be sure to ask!
